This page is for Pilgrim, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. For this kind of rental: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists the kilometres included each day.

CarmaCars and Pilgrim

CarmaCars is not in Pilgrim. Our one location is in Toronto. By straight line Pilgrim is about 2,281 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for Pilgrim we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. Send a request with what you need in Pilgrim, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

What is different here

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

How renting with us works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What to have ready

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Still deciding?

Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.
