Our area

Pine Point is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. By straight line Pine Point is about 1,086 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

If you are flying from Toronto to Pine Point, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. If you are unsure whether we can help with Pine Point, ask; we answer plainly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Reasons people rent from us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. A request is free and commits you to nothing. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Who rents from us

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

Driver basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

The booking steps

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
