What is different here

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

How a booking comes together

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
