Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

Who rents this way

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

The booking steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

What to bring

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
