Who rents this way

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

What is different here

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay.

How a booking comes together

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

What to have ready

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
