Car Rental in Quebec, CT

A rental car in Quebec

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Quebec. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

Where CarmaCars works

There is no CarmaCars office, lot or branch in Quebec. Quebec lies about 640 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you live in the Toronto area and need a car for a trip to Quebec, we can help with that. Tell us in your request that you plan to drive outside Ontario; it needs our written consent. Ask us about Quebec in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

Why this works

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

About Quebec

The pages for Danielson, East Brooklyn and Killingly cover the areas next door.

North Central State Airport (SFZ) is the closest airport, about 36 km from Quebec.

Who it is for

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

How it works

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we need from you

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Get an offer

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
