Who rents this way

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

What makes this simple

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget.

Renting: the basics

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

The booking steps

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Questions first?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
