Who rents from us

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Why CarmaCars

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

Your booking, in three steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Who can rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
