A note on distance

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Rapatee. Rapatee lies about 957 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

For the days before or after a flight to Rapatee, we can have a car for you in Toronto. Because Rapatee is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Send a request about Rapatee, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Who rents from us

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Driving in and around Rapatee

What is different here

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Requesting a car

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we need from you

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

One more step

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
