Why CarmaCars

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

The steps

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Requirements

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
