Car Rental in Refugio, Durango

A rental car in Refugio

Car Rental in Refugio: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. How it works: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

Where we are

We are based in Toronto; Refugio is not somewhere we have a location. Refugio lies about 3,122 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

Most trips to Refugio start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Because Refugio is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Need something in Refugio? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Who rents from us

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Worth knowing

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

What we ask of drivers

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

From request to keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
