Why CarmaCars

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Good fits

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

What we ask of drivers

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

How booking works

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
