Renting: the basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
