What CarmaCars covers

We are based in Toronto; Roe is not somewhere we have a location. About 1,007 km from our location in Toronto, Roe is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our cars stay around Toronto, so for Roe we can only help with the Toronto part of your travel. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. Send a request with what you need in Roe, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

Typical renters

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Reasons people rent from us

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

The booking steps

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Requirements

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Your move

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
