Car Rental in Roper, NC

Renting with CarmaCars in Roper

If you need a rental car in Roper, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists its rates for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month.

Before you plan

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Roper. With Roper about 905 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

For Roper itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. Tell us what you are planning in Roper, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.

Why this works

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking. Requests are read in order and answered by a person.

Who rents this way

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Before pickup

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Request, offer, keys

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
