The useful parts

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You can rent again later with the same account and details. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay.

When it makes sense

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

The rules, briefly

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Booking with CarmaCars

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
