A note on distance

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Roy. We rent from Toronto. The distance is about 1,763 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

If you are flying from Toronto to Roy, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. If you still want to ask about Roy, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Who it is for

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What you get

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

What to have ready

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

From your dates to the handover

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
