What makes this simple

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

Who it is for

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

The rules, briefly

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

From your dates to the handover

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

One more step

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
