When it makes sense

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Why this way of renting

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

How booking works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Ready when you are

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
