Rules for renters

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Your booking, in three steps

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
