Why CarmaCars

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

Who it is for

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

Before pickup

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

From request to keys

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
