Car Rental in Schutt

Renting with CarmaCars in Schutt

Renting a car in Schutt does not have to mean a trip to a rental counter. CarmaCars brings the car to you. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. All prices are before tax; the offer shows the total.

Drives from Schutt

People often take the car to Peterborough, about 140 km away, for the Kawartha Lakes. Huntsville, about 215 km away, is another favourite, for lakes and trails at the edge of Algonquin. Plan the distance against the kilometres included, shown on every car's page. A trip outside Ontario, the United States included, needs our written consent.

Schutt at a glance

If you are close to Schutt, you may also be near Wingle, Hardwood Lake and Latchford Bridge.

The nearest airport is Pembroke Airport (YTA), about 71 km away. Winter driving here means snow and ice, so ask about winter tires.

Who it is for

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

The useful parts

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price.

Delivered or collected

We drive cars to Schutt, which is about 219 km from our location in Toronto. Each car lists its delivery fee, and the distance is added in the offer.

If you prefer, pick the car up at our location for free. At pickup, a person checks the licence and card and walks around the car with you. Airport handovers at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport are possible; tell us the flight time.

Licence, age and card

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

What to expect when you book

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
