A rental car in Shell Lake

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Shell Lake. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The deposit is never taken at booking, only shortly before pickup.

Tell us what you need in Shell Lake, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why this way of renting

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Typical renters

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

How it works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Renting: the basics

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
