Toronto based

We do not have a location in Sherwin; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. At about 2,892 km from our location in Toronto, Sherwin is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

Most trips to Sherwin start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Our cars can leave Ontario only with written consent from us, arranged before the trip. Still have a question about Sherwin? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Why this works

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Common reasons to rent

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

What happens when you ask for a car

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What to have ready

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Let us know

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
