Car Rental in Sidney, MO

Your rental in Sidney

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Sidney. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Requests are answered by a person, by email and in your account.

Renting from Toronto

We do not have a location in Sidney; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. The straight-line distance from central Toronto to Sidney is about 1,168 km, and we deliver within about 80 km.

If you are flying from Toronto to Sidney, we can help with a car on the Toronto side of the trip. Because Sidney is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. If you need a car in Sidney itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

Common reasons to rent

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Worth knowing

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You rent the car shown, with its own photos and price. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

The area around Sidney

The pages for Lowground, Martinstown and Elko cover the areas next door.

Air travellers use Kirksville Regional Airport (IRK), about 37 km from Sidney.

Who qualifies

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

The steps

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Ready to ask?

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
