Worth knowing

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

When it makes sense

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

What happens when you ask for a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
