Licence, age and card

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

How booking works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
