Who this suits

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

What is different here

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. One small team handles your request from start to finish. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

Rules for renters

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking with CarmaCars

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
