Car Rental in Staples, TX

Renting in Staples

Car Rental in Staples: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Rates on this page start at $50 a day.

What we can do for Staples

Staples is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. At about 2,260 km from our location in Toronto, Staples is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

Heading to Staples by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. A trip from Ontario to Staples needs our written consent before you leave. Send a request with what you need in Staples, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

What is different here

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

Know the area

Places around Staples include Redwood, Galle and Weinert.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is the closest airport, about 49 km from Staples.

Who this suits

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

From request to keys

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Renting: the basics

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

When you know your dates

Find a car you like and ask for your dates.
