Why rent with us in Straits

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

The rules, briefly

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Booking made plain

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
