Car Rental in Sunset, OR

Getting a car in Sunset

Car Rental in Sunset: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The offer shows the full price before you pay anything.

Where CarmaCars works

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Sunset. Sunset lies about 3,393 km from central Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 80 km.

Heading to Sunset by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. If you still want to ask about Sunset, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

What to expect

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

When it makes sense

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

From request to keys

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What we need from you

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Ready to ask?

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
