Reach and distance

Plainly: we do not have a location in Sunset. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Sunset lies about 3,320 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For the days before or after a flight to Sunset, we can have a car for you in Toronto. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. If you are unsure whether we can help with Sunset, ask; we answer plainly. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

What is different here

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You can rent again later with the same account and details. Questions are answered by people who know the cars.

Common reasons to rent

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

For flights, Bay View Airport (MVW) is about 8 km away.

Booking with CarmaCars

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to bring

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

When you know your dates

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
