Sunstone: renting made simple

Car Rental in Sunstone: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below show live prices before tax.

When it makes sense

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What makes this simple

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

How booking works

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Over to you

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
