Car Rental in Swift, TX

Getting a car in Swift

Searching for car rental in Swift? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Rates are per car, so you can choose by budget.

Honest about distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Swift. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 1,895 km, Swift is outside that.

Flying to Swift from Toronto? We can meet you at Toronto Pearson with a car when you land back. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. If you need a car in Swift itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

What is different here

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Good fits

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Swift at a glance

What happens when you ask for a car

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Before pickup

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
