Where we deliver

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Tarrys. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Tarrys is about 2,959 km away.

For the days before or after a flight to Tarrys, we can have a car for you in Toronto. A trip from Ontario to Tarrys needs our written consent before you leave. If you need a car in Tarrys itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Worth knowing

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, by the week, or up to 365 days at a time. We answer questions before you book, not only after.

Common reasons to rent

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

What to bring

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Talk to a person

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
