Car Rental in The Cedars, DE

Car Rental for The Cedars

Searching for car rental in The Cedars? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. Here is the short version: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. There is no instant booking: every request is read by a person.

Our reach

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. The Cedars is outside the area we serve. About 539 km separate our location in Toronto and The Cedars, far past our 250 km delivery area.

What we can do: rent you a car in Toronto for the trip, with the kilometres you need. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. Ask us about The Cedars in a request; a person answers honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

What makes this simple

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Who rents this way

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

Who qualifies

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Requesting a car

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
