Car Rental in Timberlea, MD

A rental car in Timberlea

This page is for Timberlea, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A person confirms every booking before anything is charged.

Where CarmaCars works

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Timberlea. About 526 km from our location in Toronto, Timberlea is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

Coming from the Toronto area? You can start the trip to Timberlea in a car rented from us. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. Tell us what you need in Timberlea, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Why this way of renting

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Who it is for

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

The nearest airport is Phillips Army Airfield (APG), about 21 km away.

The booking steps

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Ready when you are

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
