Car Rental in Tintern

Renting with CarmaCars in Tintern

CarmaCars is a Toronto rental company, and Tintern is part of the area we deliver to. Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing to send.

Who rents this way

People visiting Tintern who want a car without the airport counter. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

What is different here

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Drives worth the kilometres

Try Ottawa, about 450 km from Toronto, for a long weekend in the capital. There is also Collingwood, about 150 km by road, for the Georgian Bay shore and the ski hills. The kilometre allowance adds up over the days you book, so a long trip can fit. Ask before any border crossing: it needs our written consent.

Local notes for Tintern

Around Tintern you will also find Pelham Union, Campden and Silverdale.

St. Catharines/Niagara District Airport (YCM) is the closest airport, about 23 km from Tintern. Winters here bring snow, and winter tires are an add-on on the cars that offer them.

Where we hand over the car

We deliver across Tintern; the distance from our location in Toronto is about 74 km. We price delivery by distance and show it in the offer.

Or pick it up from us; that costs nothing. The car is handed over in person, never left with a key box. Airport handovers cover Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, at the time we confirm.

Booking made plain

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Checking your details

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Next step

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
