Car Rental in Townsend, VA

Townsend: renting made simple

Searching for car rental in Townsend? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Every car on the site shows its own rates, deposit and kilometres included.

Renting from Toronto

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Townsend. We rent from Toronto. About 782 km in a straight line separate Townsend from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

What we can do: rent you a car in Toronto for the trip, with the kilometres you need. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. Send a request with what you need in Townsend, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Who it is for

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Reasons people rent from us

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

Townsend at a glance

If you are close to Townsend, you may also be near Magotha, Cedar Grove and Bulls Landing.

The nearest airport is Norfolk International Airport (ORF), about 39 km away.

What to have ready

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

From request to keys

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
