Typical renters

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Why CarmaCars

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

How a booking comes together

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Rules for renters

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
