Toronto based

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Mapleton is outside the area we serve. Mapleton is about 819 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

If you are travelling from Toronto, rent with us before you leave and drive the car there. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. Tell us what you are planning in Mapleton, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

The details that matter

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Who it is for

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

The nearest airport is Virginia Beach, Oceana, Naval Air Station (NTU), about 5 km away.

Your request, our offer, your keys

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
