Turo Alternative in Stringer, MS

About renting in Stringer

If you need a rental car in Stringer, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. One thing to know: Rent from CarmaCars directly: one company handles the car, the rental agreement, the deposit and support from the request to the return. Send a request with no payment, and pay only once we confirm the car and the full price. Turo is named only to describe what you compared; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by Turo. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

Where we are

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Stringer. We do not deliver as far as Stringer, about 1,584 km from our location in Toronto.

For Stringer itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Because Stringer is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. Questions about Stringer? Send a request and a person answers honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Who this suits

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Why a rental from us

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Rules for renters

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How booking works

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
