What you get

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge.

Good fits

Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

How it works

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Requirements

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Questions first?

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
