People with family in town who need a second car for a while. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

What you get

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. The request is free, so you can ask without committing. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Checking your details

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

What happens when you ask for a car

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

When you know your dates

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
