What you get

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

When it makes sense

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Before pickup

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

How it works

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
