Renting in Van Meter

Car Rental in Van Meter: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. The details: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. The cars below show live prices before tax.

Our area and Van Meter

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Van Meter. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Van Meter is about 611 km away.

What we can do: rent you a car in Toronto for the trip, with the kilometres you need. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. Tell us what you need in Van Meter, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

When it makes sense

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

What is different here

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category.

The booking steps

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Driver requirements

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
