Worth knowing

One vehicle for everyone means one driver, one fuel bill and one parking spot. Vans and cars with seven or more seats take a group in one car instead of two. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

Driver requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Requesting a car

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
