What CarmaCars covers

CarmaCars is not in Varney. Our one location is in Toronto. With Varney about 2,565 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

Flying to Varney from Toronto? We can meet you at Toronto Pearson with a car when you land back. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. If you still want to ask about Varney, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Who rents from us

Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Why this way of renting

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. We answer questions before you book, not only after. Questions are answered by people who know the cars.

Your booking, in three steps

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

What you need to rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
