A car for Verendrye

Searching for car rental in Verendrye? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. In short: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car page shows what is included, what is extra and the deposit.

What we cover

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Verendrye. Verendrye lies about 1,723 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Most trips to Verendrye start with a flight; if yours starts in Toronto, we can cover the car at this end. Crossing the border with a rental from us needs our written consent before the trip. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.

Good fits

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

What makes this simple

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
