Car Rental in Waterloo

Getting a car in Waterloo

For a rental car in Waterloo, CarmaCars has real cars, real rates and a person who confirms each booking. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You choose the car online, send a request without paying, and a person sends you the full price.

Who rents from us

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own.

Know the area

Kitchener, Rosendale and Wagner's Corner are the closest places to Waterloo on our list.

The airport closest to Waterloo is Kitchener/Waterloo Airport, about 11 km away. Snow is part of winter driving here; choose winter tires in your request when the car offers them.

Why a rental from us

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. A request is free and commits you to nothing. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Drives worth the kilometres

People often take the car to Muskoka, about 170 km away, for cottage country and the lakes around Gravenhurst. For something different, Peterborough is about 140 km away, for the Kawartha Lakes. Before a long drive, check the daily kilometres on the car's page. A trip outside Ontario, the United States included, needs our written consent.

The handover in Waterloo

Waterloo sits about 106 km from our location in Toronto, so delivery is part of the service there. We price delivery by distance and show it in the offer.

If you come to us, the pickup is free. A walkaround at the handover records any marks before you drive away. We can bring the car to Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, priced in your offer.

How it works

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Before pickup

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
